For my usual GM-ing style, almost all RP is done through the Foundry Chat, you name will come up as the character name.

/me can be used to describe actions, or add flavor text to something you would say.

For the most part, the setting I've created I try to keep in a more serious tone, but jokes and fun are always available of course. 

Voice would generally be for deliberating actions, asking questions, strategizing. 

The Timeline page will include all world background you may need, but not included would be the recent attack on Drogon by Alder. Alder attacked Ironhold, their home city. The party will learn more depending on the start they pick.

This game uses the Pathfinder 1e system, with a fan made module to add Final Fantasy classes, races, lore, items, etc.

The game will be hosted in Foundry, a locally hosted Virtual Tabletop. When you have your character art ready, you can send it to me or upload it yourself. Keep in mind that any files you choose to upload will be uploaded to my PC directly, so be considerate and careful! 

For this one-shot, the party will vote on which start they would like. The options will be:

Play Alder aligned, serve your king's orders, capture fleeing Drogon, sell them to Blackwood.

Play Blackwood aligned, an "experiment" has gone missing. Hunt it down before it can be discovered.

Play Drogon aligned, tired of refugee life, look to retake one of your families towns from Alder control.

Play Caelum aligned, help protect refugee convoys travel from Ironhold to Skyhaven.

Play Ember aligned, A newly unearthed temple in the desert holds many secrets, what could be discovered?

Play Mercs, ask for anything, we could always work something out and make it setting appropriate. 

The character can be of any age 16+

Characters do not need to know each other prior, but can have mixed in backstories if desired.

Your character can come from any of the major 5 families or your own. Characters of any linage may be treated differently depending on who they speak with. A pureblood may look down upon a mixed-blood, where as two pure bloods may look down on each other if from different families. 

The character may be of just about any race, however Eldoria is predominately "humanoid".  Please no: Immortal, PuPu, Tonkin, Shindroid, Palico, Mandragora. Beastman tribe races can be case by case.

Most classes will be allowed*. Run it by me when you find one you like, even the meme classes seem to be okay.

Your character will be aware of most modern events, Events on the "Timeline" will be known to all who have lived in Eldoria, attended school in Eldoria, or are history buffs. Foreigners may be unfamiliar. 

Setting will be low technology, so don't expect highly advanced airships, or hundreds of magitek armors roaming around. However, Magitek will exist but be very rare. Guns are present, uncommon. Magic is common place and the majority of those who want to can cast magic on their own with by channeling with materia. Some are unable to cast all together ( Dogon pureblooded, see: Garlean )

As you know, the system will be FFd20,  based upon Pathfinder 1e. Since everyone is new to Pathfinder, and most of the character entry requires the server to be up, we can set some time to talk about it in more details.  In the meantime, take a look through the class options to see what sounds nice or appealing to you.  Keep in mind, every class has "archetypes" which can alter the base class.  Classes are here.

To start, we will be using the Elephant/Moogle in the room rules. This is to help with feat tax and allow us to just make fun characters with this system.

Level 2
15 point buy.
2 Traits + 1 additional with drawback.
First level is max HP, then take Average or roll for HP.
We will use the Hero Point system, however it will be capped to 3. No Hero Point Feats.
We may use the Revengeance Limit as an optional system for Limit Breaks, will discuss more.
Varient Multiclassing will not be allowed.
Normal WBL.

No Arithmetician or Freelancer Class.

As stated above, please no Immortal, PuPu, Tonkin, Shindroid, Palico, Mandragora. Beastman tribe races can be case by case. No Monstrous races.

So far, all classes should be free game to use. For any mounted units, please consult with me.

The style I use for all my art is watercolor at its core. I'd ask everyone do the same if possible, but this isn't a huge concern! For more indepth character building, here is a brief overview of each families dresscodes. Showing your family colors is also very common, those can be found here.
